An awesome Eco-Challenge at Phipps today! 6th-graders did an amazing job. Challenge 1 gave students the opportunity to be city planners. After working to plan out their community all groups puzzled maps together and realized communities needed to be aware of their neighboring communities as well. Challenge 2 gave students the opportunity to interview a scientist and then create an informative poster about their area of study. Our students interviewed a plant ecologist. Challenge 3 was a scavenger hunt around the conservatory. Tommy and Anna won prizes (frisbees!) for remembering information learned.
